Enrolment Fees

The following fees are applicable upon application and enrolment.

SALES & SERVICE TAX (SST)

Starting 1 July 2025, all private and international schools in Malaysia are required to charge 6% Service Tax (SST) on annual school fees exceeding RM60,000 per student. This applies to all school fees, including tuition fees, EAL charges, and Application and Registration fees (for new students only), and will affect all students regardless of nationality, except Malaysian students with OKU cards, who are exempted.
Please note that all fees stated are exclusive of SST.

Application Fee

Application Fee: RM 1,500

 

A non-refundable fee is payable upon submission of the application. This fee covers the administrative processing and assessment procedures required for evaluating each student’s application.

Registration Fee: RM 15,000

 

A one-time, non-refundable fee for new Grade 1–12 students and Early Years students moving into Grade 1. Charged per family. Refundable only if the school does not accept the student based on entry requirements.

Waived for students transferring from other internationally accredited schools in Malaysia.

Deposit Fee: RM 10,000

 

Refundable with one full academic semester’s written notice, submitted before the start of the term from which the student will withdraw. Notice must be given while the student is still enrolled and acknowledged by the school.

Notes:

1) Tuition Fees at GrowBright are all-inclusive, covering IB programme delivery, classroom resources, technology and digital learning tools, co-curricular activities, access to campus facilities, student wellbeing services, and ongoing assessments.

2) Our transparent fee structure ensures no hidden annual charges, providing families with a comprehensive, high-quality learning experience without unnecessary add-on costs.

3) The following items are not included in the Tuition Fees: Learning Support Services (LSS), bus transportation, school uniforms, cafeteria meals, school trips and camps and external examination fees (where applicable).

Discounts & Rebates

Annual Tuition Fee Rebate

Students are eligible for an 8% rebate on Tuition Fees when the full annual Tuition Fee is paid on or before the first day of Term 1.

Families receive a 5% Tuition Fee discount for the second child and a 10% discount for the third and subsequent children, provided that the older child(ren) are full fee-paying students. To qualify, the second and subsequent children must be enrolled under the standard fee structure as published in the official fee schedule. They must not be receiving any other Tuition Fee discount, rebate, or scholarship.

Other Fees

Learning Support Services (lss)

LSS Fee: RM 5,000 per semester for students enrolled in LSS


GBIS supports inclusive education through our tailored Learning Support Services, including:


• English as an Additional Language (EAL)
• Life-Centred Education (LCE) for students with learning or developmental needs

• RM 500 per student (per visa year)
• RM 1,000 per guardian (per visa year)

A dedicated school bus service is available for daily student transport.

Fees for external assessments (including registration and courier charges) are billed separately.

While many activities are included, some may require additional contributions depending on duration and scope.

Nutritious snacks and lunch options are available for purchase on campus.

Available at the on-campus GrowBright uniform shop.
